Horror Books and Dark Fantasy Tales

Since the year 2000, I’ve published more than 20 horror books. It all started with Cage of Bones & Other Deadly Obsessions – a collection of the erotic horror, dark fantasy and science fiction stories I’d written for magazines throughout the 1990s. Vigilantes of Love, a collection of light and dark fantasy tales followed in 2003.

My first novel, Covenant, appeared in a limited edition from Delirium in 2004. The following year it won a Bram Stoker Award for a First Novel in 2005. It was translated and published in Poland in 2007, the same year Leisure Books in New York bought the rights to Covenant and the sequel Sacrifice, and reissued them in mass market paperback format. I wrote three more novels for Leisure before I followed my editor to Samhain Publishing. I published three novels and a collection with Samhain, starting with the Bram Stoker Award finalist NightWhere. In 2017, I sold my 10th novel, The House By The Cemetery to Flame Tree Press in the UK, which was released in October 2018. They released my 13th novel, Five Deaths for Seven Songbirds in March 2022.
