YOU NEED TO freeze-frame and full-screen the video to see it, but the other day Verizon launched a new iPad 2 TV commercial… and the e-book at the top right of the iPad that the user holds while demo-ing the e-reading capabilities of the tablet is none other than my fourth novel SIREN! You can see it at around the 6- and 9-second marks of the commercial, just before the user opens TWILIGHT. Yep, that’s me and Stephenie Meyer, right there on the top row of the Verizon commercial. Just saying.
I’m guessing it’s not going to drive an onslaught of consumer awareness/sales, because the cover image flashes by very small and very fast… but still, it’s pretty cool placement, nonetheless!
