Booksignings this week! Decatur, Geneva & Seattle

Let the tour begin…

The 13th by John EversonLAST WEEKEND,  I sent out a hurried edition of my e-newsletter as I was heading out to be an author guest at Zombie Con X in Milwaukee where the paperback edition of The 13TH debuted.   If you’re not a subscriber to the monthly update, you can join here: www.johneverson.com/newsletter/

The con was great fun — and if you ever get a chance to see a movie called The ZomBeatles… all I can say is … DO IT. I’ll hopefully get a chance to blog about that trip here and post some pix in a few days.

What I didn’t really mention in the last newsletter was that over the next couple weeks I’ll be doing some “far-flung” booksignings.

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, October 13th, I’ll be giving a talk at the DECATUR PUBLIC LIBRARY in downstate Illinois. I’ll be showing off the new novel there, as well as giving a bit of show and tell on the last 20 years of independent horror magazines. And I’ll probably do a fiction reading while I’m at it. So if you’re near Decatur, Illinois, I hope you’ll come down at 7 p.m.

Then on Friday, I’ll be appearing with several area horror authors, including my Leisure Books’ mate W.D. Gagliani, at the BARNES & NOBLE in Geneva, IL for what is sure to be a horror-bly fun night.

Over the weekend, on Sunday at 6 p.m. Central, I’ll make my annual Halloween appearance as a guest author online in the Writers Chatroom at www.writerschatroom.com.

FINALLY, from Monday (Oct. 26th), I’ll be doing a booksigning in Seattle, WA at the downtown BARNES & NOBLE.  Come on out West Coasters!!! I’ll be out there on a business trip that week, and am looking forward to ducking out for a couple hours to the bookstore to meet some horror fans!
